Assam, the heart of north-east India, has vast expanses of forest, hills, undulating plains and rivers. The people are simple by nature. Exclusive tribal cultures co-exist. Brahmaputra, one of the four largest rivers in the world, flows through the state. Assam has four main seasons: summer, monsoon, winter and spring. Though moderate climate prevails throughout the year, the best period to visit the state is October to April. The most important and well-known tourist spots are Capital Guwahati, Kaziranga National Park, Manas National Park, Majuli river island and Sualkuchi where Assam silk is made. One should’nt miss Kaziranga and Majuli.

After early breakfast we will go to Dakshineswar, and then we will cross the river Hoogly on boat and go to Belur Math (Ashram built by Swami Vivekananda). We will proceed towards Kolkata city centre enroute visit Botanical garden, Vidyasagar Setu. Evening sound & light show at Victoria. Overnight at Hotel.

The first destination on North East India wildlife tour is Delhi, the capital city of India. On arrival, transfer to the hotel and check in. In the afternoon you can enjoy city sightseeing at Old and New Delhi. In Old Delhi you can see the Red Fort, an impressive sandstone monument built by the Emperor Shah Jahan, Jama Masjid; enjoy shopping at the colorful bazaars of Chandni Chowk; also see Raj Ghat – the memorial of Mahatma Gandhi, Humayun’s Tomb and the Qutab Minar.In New Delhi you will see Rashtrapati Bhavan – the President’s mansion, Parliament House, India Gate, The Lotus Temple and many shopping arcades in New Delhi. Overnight stay at the hotel.
